Remove Ads from Windows Live Messenger 2011 Conversation Window

The ads that appear at the bottom of Windows Live Messenger 2011 conversation window may annoy you during chatting with your friends. A-Patch is a free tool to remove ads from the messenger. It is portable (does not require installation), clean ans easy to use.

There are two Remove Advertisement Checkboxes on A-Patch and the difference is the first one removes advertisement banner from the bottom of contact list and other removes text ad from the bottom of message window.
But, the chat/ conversation window still has a small advertisement at the bottom.

To get rid of this ad, press Alt+T which will show you the Tools menu bar. Select Options, click on Messages and the left navigation bar, uncheck ‘show expanded footer in conversation windows’ and click OK.

You will notice that ads are no longer shown at the bottom of chat window and Windows Live Messenger is perfectly clean from all advertisements.
